Todd Barnhart is the Educational Vertical Market Leader for the Gardiner Trane Company Located in Solon,
Ohio. Todd is a 1996 graduate from the Trane Graduate level training program focused on HVAC systems and building automation. Todd has also taught courses offered in the Trane Air Conditioning Clinic for the last 10 years. He teaches BOC 101 and 102.
Peter
Johnson is a Senior Account Executive with SIEMENS Building Technologies in Cleveland OH area and is involved in owner related Building Automation Systems, IAQ, Energy and Mechanical systems. He was past President of the Akron ASHRAE Chapter from 2002-2004. In the 2006 ASHRAE International competition for HVAC projects, Pete received an "ASHRAE Technology Award" for Outstanding Design for IAQ , Energy & Efficiency for an HVAC project in OHIO. He has presented IAQ subjects at numerous Society and Business meetings. Pete teaches BOC 106 IAQ Basics and BOC 210 Advanced IAQ.
Ted Howell
is President of Energy Instruction Group (EIG) that provides specialized energy reduction training that provides facility managers the knowledge to reduce energy consumption, the tools to calculate the impact, and the utility monitoring tools needed to quantify the
results. Ted holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering & Supervisory Management from Purdue University.
He is a Certified Energy Manager, Certified Building Commissioning Professional, Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional and a Leadership In Energy & Environmental Design Accredited
Professional. He teaches BOC 101, 102 and 103.
Paul Novak
is the Director of Environmental Health & Safety for Cleveland State
University, where he has taught a number of courses on subjects like Hazardous
Waste Training, Radiation Safety Training and Environmental Safety. He
is a registered Environmental Health Specialist with the National Environmental
Health Association, a Certified Environmental Inspector with the Environmental
Assessment Association and an Asbestos Hazard Evaluation Specialist with
the Ohio Department of Health. Novak will teach BOC106, Indoor Air Quality.
Sri Rahm
is Senior Lighting Application Specialist and Instructor at GE’s Lighting and Electrical Institute in Cleveland, Ohio. Sri holds an M.S. in Physics and an M.B.A. in Marketing. In addition to lighting, Sri also teaches Physics as a part-time faculty member at Case Western Reserve University. Sri's interests include, instructional design, group facilitation, digital tools, graphics and multimedia. Sri is Lighting Certified (LC) by the National Council for the Qualification of Lighting Professionals (NCQLP) and is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) where he serves on the Papers Committee and on the Lighting Maintenance Committee. Sri teaches BOC 104 - EFFICIENT LIGHTING FUNDAMENTALS.
Steve Wubben has been a senior instructor for Johnson Controls Institute, since 2001, where he is a certified instructor in over 18 HVAC/Building Management Systems courses. He has extensive work experience in the HVAC controls industry as a systems engineer and project engineer. His controls experiences include public facilities, office buildings, FDA Validated environments and laboratory controls, utilizing pneumatic, analog electrical and direct digital control systems from multiple manufacturers. Mr. Wubben holds a Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering Degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He has also taught courses for Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES). Mr. Wubben teaches BOC 103.
